Congratulations, Broomfield, the rest of the country knows what a great place to live, work, and play you are! Website Walletpop.com just released its “10 Best Places to Buy a Home in 2011.” Broomfield County received the accolade of Best Jobs due to the exponential job growth in the past decade and big name employers. Higher education of the county’s residents was also noted as a plus. Though Walletpop.com stated this list was non-scientific, it is good PR for our area nonetheless! At about half the price of Boulder, I have to agree there’s a lot of value to be had here at only 15 minutes away; this could be especially valuable for families where one person works in Boulder and the other in Denver.
