Steel Ranch Will Add 350 Housing Units to Louisville

Sixty acres in Louisville are currently under development to become the town’s newest neighborhood, with a mix of 350 condos, townhomes, houses, and patio homes. Steel Ranch is located west of Colorado 42/96th Street in between South Boulder Road and Baseline Road. Like many neighborhoods in this area, there will be an emphasis on trails and accessibility.

For the first phase, Ryland Homes will be building single-family homes, with ranches and two-story houses ranging from 1,711 to over 3,000 square feet. Prices will begin in the $300s. Ground just broke last month, and they expect to have models complete by April. The townhomes, patio homes, and condos will be built later by different builders.

Just across Colorado 42 is North End by Markel Homes, a similar subdivision of new homes ranging from 1,698 to 2,570 square feet. Many of these homes are sold but some remain, prices from the $400s-$600s. People who I’ve talked to who live there have been very happy with their purchase and love living in a new home in a great area.

It should be interesting to see if and how the Steel Ranch project affects the remaining sales at North End, but it is nice to see new construction happening again especially in this growing area and America’s “#1 Town”.
